finger knitted hat & scarf for a doll

My daughter has being visited at her grandma for las week. And I've decided to make a surprise for her and tried new way of knitting... on the fingers. Actually I'd like to teach my daughter to knit. It's seemes to me better and more simple to start from finger knitting. But first I could try it myself.

That is what comes out. Little hat and scarf for a doll.

I've spent two hours on each thing. But there is a downside. You can't interrupt the work by leaving it on the needles until the next time. Because here the needles are the fingers. you need to remove the loops from the fingers, string them on a skewer, then put each loop back on the fingers, which is very inconvenient.

But the process itself is fascinating.

When my daughter has seen her doll she been delighted and asked me to knit a scarf for her bunny. Of course, I've offered to teach her. She's agreed.
